Owner of Game Shape Earns Doctorate
Michelle Wolpov, Freehold, owner and executive director of Game Shape - Physical Therapy and Medical Fitness Center, Manalapan, has earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with emphasis on Executive Private Practice Management from the EIM Institute of Health Professions, Kentucky.
Before opening her physical therapy and medical fitness center that includes professional sports and orthopedic rehabilitation along with sports performance services ten years ago, Dr. Wolpov founded a healthcare consulting company, specializing in practice management.
Dr. Wolpov earned an MBA from Monmouth University where she received the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Award and was named the "Top Student" in the MBA class of 2001. Dr. Wolpov also holds a B.S. in physical therapy from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY.
Her licenses and certifications include physical therapist (PT), certified athletic trainer (ATC), and a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).
Dr. Wolpov is a member of the Medical Fitness Association; the American Council on Exercise; the National Athletic Trainers Association; the National Strength and Conditioning Association; and the American Physical Therapy Association: NJ Chapter, and Orthopedic & Private Practice Sections. Dr. Wolpov is an active member of the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce.
Local Physical Therapist Recognized for Her Professional Accomplishments
Manalapan, NJ - September 26, 2011 - Michelle Wolpov, owner and physical therapist, of Game Shape Physical Therapy and Fitness Center has been recognized by her employees and community with an Athena Award nomination.
The Athena Award is an annual honor presented by the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce. Athena Award candidates must meet three specific criteria including excellence, creativity and initiative in their profession; a valuable service that improves quality of life within the community; and actively aid women in leadership roles.
Men or women who exemplify the three criteria are eligible for the Athena Award.
A reception for nominees is being held at BMW of Freehold on October 4th from 4:30pm to 6pm. The winner of the Athena Award will be announced during a luncheon on November 4th.
Game Shape Physical Therapy & Fitness Center emphasizes exercise is medicine by bridging the gap between physical therapy and fitness.
